Event Details

The flavors of East Africa. The wines of Northern California
And a view to take your breath away.
Come learn how cooking can help cool the planet.

Inyenyeri has pioneered a Fuel Stove system that delivers clean cooking to even the rural cashless, landless poor—through a for-profit model built to scale across Africa and around the world.

Clean cooking can dramatically reduce carbon emissions—our stoves cut CO2e emissions on average eight tons per household per year. Scaled across Africa it could reduce carbon emissions by half a billion tons every year.

Our staff from Rwanda will cook traditional foods on our super clean gasifying pellet stoves, alongside locavore nibbles and some of Napa’s finest wines, and then we’ll premier a new short film on the connection between deforestation, cooking, and climate change.

The event will be held at the spectacular Randall Museum, atop a 16 acre hill with breathtaking views of downtown San Francisco. Enjoy warm summer evening on the patio in a beautiful outdoor venue perfect for mingling and tasting, then join us in the private theater for the screening of our new short film. And we’re also hoping ( fingers crossed ) to have a few surprise announcements up our sleeve.

Helping solve climate change, one meal at a time. We look forward to seeing you there.
