As the Western Program Director for the National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC). Kate Greenberg organizes young farmers, advocates for supportive policy, and promotes land, water, and climate stewardship.
Kate graduated from Whitman College in 2009 with a degree in Environmental-Humanities. Kate has farmed around the West, canoe guided in Minnesota, and managed Western policy field programs. She later moved to Mexico to help restore the Colorado River Delta.
Kate is a producer of two NYFC films that highlight farmers building resilience through conservation. In 2016, Kate was honored by Western Resource Advocates with the Emerging Leader in Conservation Award. She serves as board chair for the Quivira Coalition, a conservation-ranching organization fostering resilience at the radical center and is co-founder of Wild Streak, a network supporting all-female backcountry adventures. Kate lives in Durango, CO.
